All parents and guardians of students enrolled at IMS are members of IMS Parents.
The purposes of IMS Parents are to:
- provide support to parents and the school.
- support school goals through volunteer service, fund-raising activities, and enhanced educational opportunities for students.
- provide a channel of communication between parents and the school.
Each grade has a grade representative, who participates in the grade representative committee which meets regularly, preferably every month, to (a) discuss important issues and if appropriate inform the school administration and the board of the opinions of the parents; and (b) plan and organize activities for the school and its students.
Orientation Day (August 3rd). New applicant students are invited to the Orientation Night to be held after school to introducing our school system and procedures.
Book Fair (August). Books and supplies in all genres for all age groups, including adults, are collected in special boxes throughout the school. The Book Fair is open to the entire IMS community, students, parents and teachers.
NEWCOMERS COFFEE AND AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
